About this challenge

Some things are better shared than owned. Tools, spaces, vehicles, and equipment sit idle most of the time, while others go without.

This challenge asks you to create something that helps your town share more: space, tools, equipment, skills, or time.

Sharing multiplies what a community already has. One tool library serves hundreds of households with the tools of a few.

Shared things also create shared places, and shared places create community.
